Tonight's Starting Goalie

Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks is expected to start in nets tonight as they take on the Calgary Flames.

Crawford made 32 saves last match versus the Los Angeles Kings for a final score of 3-0 Blackhawks.  This was the first shutout win for the Blackhawks since the start of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

Crawford has been having a stellar performance at even strength this season and as long as the Blackhawks avoid giving penalties and take down the PK it should be a great game for the net minder.

Scott Darling has also been playing well but with the new line adjustments and the work the Blackhawks are making on the PK it might be best for now to stick with the more experienced goalie.
