Top insider is proposing a deal to bring a forward to Chicago.

Craig Cunstance, ESPN senior writer, just released a paper regarding what is brewing around the NHL teams as we go by the trade deadline. There are a lot of speculations and trade rumors but nothing big is happening so far. Why?

“It’s the hardest market to read,” said one Eastern Conference GM this week.

Of course GM Stan Bowman said he doesn’t expect to move this year, but when is the last time a GM went publicly pointing out that he will trade players? Remember Marc Bergevin hosting a press conference saying he will never trade P.K Subban? That is why fans should stay skeptical about the "formal” statement from the organization.

Craig Cunstance proposed an interesting option for Stan Bowman : 

“The addition of Hanzal would give the Blackhawks the deepest center group they’ve had in years. Factor in the long summer they enjoyed after a first-round exit at the hands of the Blues, and they’d be primed to go this spring.”
