Toronto's Ron Hainsey gives perfect response to questions about the anthem.

Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Ron Hainsey just wants to play hockey. 

For fans who have been sick and tired of hearing about the anthem controversy over the past few days in the world of sports, the response Hainsey gave the media on Tuesday will likely feel like a breath of fresh air. 

As soon as a media scrum formed around him Hainsey made it crystal clear that he would not be answering any political questions, but offered to answer any hockey-related questions the reporters on hand might have for him. 

The reporters however were left speechless, prompting Hainsey to say that this was exactly what he had expected of them before walking off.
