Tortorella goes off on reporters during a tense post-game press conference

In case you missed it, the Boston Bruins managed to close out their second round series against the Columbus Blue Jackets last night with a 3-0 shutout victory at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

Immediately following the game Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella met with the media to discuss the game, the series and the season that was for his team and he was NOT having it when a reporter tried to pay him and his team a compliment for their work this season. After all, making it to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is no small accomplishment. Torts though… well he’s not having ANY of it.

Suffice it to say that it’s going to be a loooooong offseason in Columbus. With Artemi Panarin, Sergei Bobrovsky and Matt Duchene all set to depart via free agency, Tortorella’s frustrations may just be beginning.
