Tortorella makes another controversial move, Team USA gets shut out.

There were many surprised to hear that that John Tortorella has made the decision to bench All-Star defenseman Dustin Byfgulien for Team USA's game Saturday against Team Europe, and now that we know the result, there will be many who voice their criticism.

Team USA was a heavy favorite to beat Europe in what was a preliminary round game, but instead the Americans looked lackluster and were shut out by New York Islanders veteran goaltender Jaroslav Halak, leading to a 0-3 defeat.

Tortorella had already drawn significant criticism earlier in the tournament for another controversial decision involving Dustin Byfuglien, swapping him to forward during the exhibition contests leading up to the official games. Byfuglien had expressed his displeasure at the move, and one has to wonder if there's something going on here between the two men.

No word yet on whether or not Byfuglien will continue be a healthy scratch for Team USA.
