This just in, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Anaheim Ducks have hooked up on a trade.

Details:

Heading to the Leafs will be minor league defenseman Steven Olesky in exchange for journeyman center Adam Cracknell.

The 32 year old Olesky is a career AHLer with only 73 NHL games on his resume split between the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins, but was previously with the Leafs' AHL affiliate Toronto Marlies where it's believed he had a strong impact on the team's young players.

As for Cracknell, the veteran of 208 NHL games had three goals and 10 points in 14 games with the Marlies this season. He split last season between the Dallas Stars and New York Rangers in the NHL, but spent the majority of the season with the Laval Rocket of the AHL.
