The Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Blackhawks have made a minor player for player trade.

According to a breaking news report from the Canadiens official website, the Canadiens have acquired 24-year-old forward Kyle Baun from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchnage for 27-year-old forward Andreas Martinsen.

Of the two players Martinsen has by far the most National Hockey League experience having played in 119 NHL games over the past two seasons with the Habs and the Colorado Avalanche. Over that stretch he recorded 7 goals and 11 assists for 18 total points and a combined plus minus of -18.

Braun on the other hand has just 5 games of NHL experience and in fact he spent the entire 2016-2017 season playing for the Rockford Ice Hogs of the American Hockey League. In 74 AHL games he recorded 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points and a plus minus rating of -14.

Who do you think wins this deal?
