TRADE RUMOR: Montreal GM has reportedly had enough with two PROMISING players

The Montreal Canadiens have been eliminated by the New York Rangers almost a month ago and since then, we have heard countless rumors and possible trade destinations of various Habs players.

Former NHL enforcer Georges Laraques said earlier today that Alex Galchenyuk and Nathan Beaulieu will be traded during the course of the summer. Laraque was one of the first people to predict PK Subban's trade, last year:

The Montreal Canadiens management reportedly had its doubts about both players' behavior on and off the ice over the past few months. It may be one of the reasons why both players have been the subject of various trade rumors.

Galchenyuk played 61 games last season with the Habs, recording 17 goals and 27 assists for 44 points. The expectations were high after he scored 30 goals in 2015-16, but he was never able to fully recover from the knee injury he suffered mid-season. Chucky only recorded three points in the final 10 games of the Canadiens.

Nathan Beaulieu racked up 28 points in 74 games last season. GM Marc Bergevin openly said that he is "at a crossroads," and that "the clock was ticking."
