Trade Rumor : Original 6 GM gambling his future?

Pierre LeBrun, TSN's top insider, was on all tribunes last night to discuss hot trade topics as we get closer to March 1st trade deadline. His main trade bait was about a contending team struggling to score lately. The Montreal Canadiens saw their 8 Pts lead becomes a 6 Pts lead after losing against the Boston Bruins on Sunday. As they are now in their bye week, Pierre LeBrun believes it's now or never for the Montreal Canadiens GM to make a move.

"The Habs have got to make a move" said Lebrun as an opening to his insider trading segment. "There isn't an NHL general manager with more pressure on him" he continued. 

Why? Because the Montreal Canadiens made a big statement to the entire NHL by trading P.K Subban for Shea Weber that they want to win right now and they are all in.

" Now you gotta double down, you gotta go out whether it's Martin Hanzal of the Coyotes, we know the Canadiens have shown interest in him, Matt Duchene to some level, whomever. Marc Bergevin owes his team."

On thing is sure, Marc Bergevin is certainly feeling immense pressure right because the fans in Montreal fans and Carey Price wants to win now. The windows is slightly open, it's time for Bergevin to seize the opportunity.
