Trade rumors: another blockbuster deal in Nashville?
Keystone Press

We’re a little more than a month away from the opening of the 2017-18 season, and already players are caught up in the rumor mill, sitting ready on the trade block.

Matt Larkin of The Hockey News has revealed the names of 10 trade candidates for the upcoming campaign, and though some have been mentioned throughout the summer, others are just getting started to get dizzy in the mill!

Larkin expects the Nashville Predators to once again be part of a blockbuster trade this season. After shipping out Seth Jones and Shea Weber, a young prospect may be next.

Denfenseman Dante Fabbro, a first round pick from last year’s draft, might be used to get help on the offensive, seeing that the Press already have  the best top-four defense corps in the NHL with P.K. Subban, Mattias Ekholm, Roman Josi and Ryan Ellis.

"General manager David Poile is absolutely fearless," adds Larkin. "I wouldn’t rule out any blockbuster deal from him, even one involving the highly regarded Fabbro."

Last year with Boston University, Fabbro finished the season with 18 points and a +6 plus-minus rating.

What do you think Preds fans? Would you let Fabbro go? For Matt Duchene on the Colorado Avalanche

It’s worth asking about it…
