Trade rumors: NHL veteran’s stay will be short with the struggling Kings
Keystone Press

We’re a little more than a month away from the opening of the 2017-18 season, and already players are caught up in the rumor mill, sitting ready on the trade block.

Matt Larkin of The Hockey News has revealed the names of 10 trade candidates for the upcoming campaign, and though some have been mentioned throughout the summer, others are just getting started to get dizzy in the mill!

The Los Angeles Kings have missed the mark during the summer to improve the club, which makes it seem like the club will miss the post-season for a second spring in a row. There is much more competition in the West with the Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks and the Calgary Flames

They only considerable addition for the Kings is veteran Mike Cammalleri, who has issues staying healthy at 35. He could hence be used as a mental trade bait in March.

Cammalleri can contribute offensively and is a good voice to have in the locker room. He should be on the move…again.
