Trade rumors: quite the conundrum ahead for the Golden Knights!

We’re a little more than a month away from the opening of the 2017-18 season, and already players are caught up in the rumor mill, sitting ready on the trade block. 

Matt Larkin of The Hockey News has revealed the names of 10 trade candidates for the upcoming campaign, and though some have been mentioned throughout the summer, others are just getting started to get dizzy in the mill! 

The Vegas Golden Knights have several pending unrestricted free agents and Larkin has placed them all in one slot for potiential trades this season. 

General manager George McPhee will most likely try to move forward James Neal, who will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer, and he could become a great bargaining chip. David Perron, Jason Garrison and Brayden McNabb could also land on the trade block. However, Larkin says to keep an eye on unrestricted free agent to be Jonathan Marchessault. 

"Marchessault would yield the best return if the Knights chose to dangle him at the deadline.," Larkin adds. 

What a conundrum in the inaugural season!
