Often times Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson is the man delivering the big hit, but on Saturday night he took some serious damage when he was the victim of a questionable hit from Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Ian Cole.

While Wilson certainly deserves some share of the blame for turning his body at the last possible second, the fact remains that Cole's hit caught Wilson from behind and send him crashing face first into the boards, seemingly messing up his nose.

That's because seconds later Wilson could be seen on the bench grimacing in pain as the trainer appeared to be trying to get his nose back into the right spot.

Here's a look at the hit.
