Trapped in the snow and no one helps him... until an NHL captain saves the day.

It's easy to call players classy or give them praise for the good things they do when the cameras are on, but it's often their behavior off the ice that let's their true character shine through.

On Wednesday Montreal Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty showed the world he is just a genuine good guy when he was the only good Samaritan willing to stop and help a young man who's car was stuck in the snow.

The young man in question named Lawr Ence said that several vehicles drove by as he struggled before someone finally stopped to help him, and much to his surprise it was none other than Pacioretty himself there to give him a hand.

He even managed to snag a few pictures of the whole thing.
