Today was a special one for former Pittsburgh Penguins and new member of the Detroit Red Wings defenseman Trevor Daley. The two-time Stanley Cup winner got to spend all day with the cup on his side.

For the occasion, Daley chose to bring Lord Stanley to a kids hockey camp in Stouffville, Ontario. That camp holds a special place in Daley's heart, him who attended that same camp when he was a kid.

"The cup is crazy in terms of the attention it gets," said Daley. "It's fun to show people how hard you've worked to get it, and for the kids, it's always good to let them know that their hard work can pay off someday."

During the off-season, Daley inked a three-year deal worth $9.5 million with Detroit.

Last season with the Pens, he took part in only 56 regular games, scoring 5 goals and collecting 19 points. But it's in the Stanley Cup Playoffs that he was most useful to the Pens as he took part in 21 games, collected 5 points and helped Pittsburgh win a second straight Stanley Cup.
