The NHL playoff tournament kicked off more than a week ago and now the official postseason is underway with 16 teams left in the bubbles of the hub cities of Toronto and Edmonton.

The NHL has managed to put together an incredibly organized setup to allow players to train, play and rest in complete security. The league announced on Monday that it has had no positive COVID-19 test results in its first two weeks in secure zones in Edmonton and Toronto, after administering 7,245 tests in its second week, from Aug. 2-8, with no positive results.

As you know, players and staff in the secure zones are separated from the general public and no fans are in attendance at games. This is why TSN and NBC Sports' Gord Miller’s post was hilarious earlier on Wednesday morning, when he found an empty box of condoms in the middle of the bubble in Toronto.

“Day 13 in the NHL bubble. Someone’s having a very different experience than the rest of us.”

We get it : it is probably a box from someone out there, the wind blowing, a staff romance, but the fact that fans quickly replied to Miller’s with funny assumptions was just gold.

Check this out:

We just knew Miller’s post was going to get a lot of interaction, but you have to admit this is just perfect.

We bet even NHL players stuck in the bubble will enjoy this!
