Tuukkas Rask has been amazing so far. Starting off the season on fire with a personnal 3 games-win-streak before getting injured. During his replacement, Khudobin, Subban and McIntyre failed to give the B's a win in 4 contests. Rask came back as a savior and went on with another 3 games-win-streak before finally losing his first of the year yesterday against the Rangers.
" When the pucks start going through you, you’d kind of like to have those back," admitted Rask last night.
CNS writer Jon Haggerty went with a bold declaration today : " When Tuukka Rask plays at an elite Superman level then the Bruins win hockey games. When the Finnish netminder is more of the mild-mannered, Clark Kent-level of goaltender then the flawed B’s don’t have much chance to come away victorious."
Hopefully we won't have to rely on Superman all season!
