Huge break for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild have been hit fairly hard by the injury bug to start the season, but on Thursday the team got some good news.

According to an official report from the Wild, both veteran forward Marcus Foligno and veteran forward Mikael Granlund made their return to practice on Thursday, a sign that both men aren't very far away from making their return to the ice.

An interesting note from practice is the fact that Foligno was spotted wearing a cage, something he hasn't done in several years, and there are rumblings that he will have to wear it when he makes his full return in order to prevent further injury.

Head coach Bruce Boudreau has confirmed Granlund will be a game-time decision so this is really a day of good news on multiple fronts for the Wild.

Unfortunately the big injury continues to loom over the team and there is no indication that star forward Zach Parise is any closer to coming back from his current back injury.
