As per TSN’s Steve Dryden article, the Boston Bruins now have two players in the top-50.

Patrice Bergeron finds himself at the 14th position, whereas Brad Marchand is found on the 30th.

Bergeron is a runner-up to Evgeni Malkin, going from 26th last year to the 12 positions higher, making it a huge leap in under 12 months.

This is the first time that Marchand appears on this list, and is ranked as the 30th, only bested by P.K. Subban (who dropped nine points, from 20th to 29th in just a year). Considering his 37-goal season last year that nearly flew under the radar, and his goal-leading stats in Team Canada this year, one might speculate that he’ll quickly jump the ranks in the next voting sessions to come.
