The Philadelphia Flyers made two curious moves on Wednesday and it has some pundits asking if there isn't more than meets the eye.

First, according to a report from NBC Sports' Mike Halford the Flyers have sent both forwards Roman Lyubimov and Scott Laughton down the American Hockey League's Leigh Valley Phantoms, leaving the team with no extra forwards on the roster. The curious part here of course is no one appears to know why the Flyers made the move.

Flyer's beat reporter Dave Isaac has openly speculated about another potential move from the Flyer's, but didn't hint at what that might be. He did however state that the Flyers do not like to travel without extra players in their line up, and with a trip to Toronto coming on Friday we may get the answer as to why these players were sent down sooner rather than later.
