One of the biggest NCCA signings over the summer involved the Calgary Flames signing college standout Spencer Foo. He is currently playing in the American Hockey League with Stockton but he has not been one of the flames prospects who has been the most impressive. Andrew Mangiapane and Garnet Hathaway are among the top 5 leading scorers in the AHL and constantly heat it up game after game.

Mangiapane is currently third in the AHL for points with 7 goals and 11 assists. Mangiapane who was deemed as a sleeper in the 2015 draft going in the 6th round absolutely tore it up in the OHL with back to back 100 point seasons with the Barrie Colts. He had 20 goals last seasons in the AHL is surely on pace to surpass that this season!

Right behind him is teamate Garnet Hathaway who has 17 points and has been bouncing in and out of the Flames lineup over the years. The 25 year old has a +13 and has already had over 30 NHL games under his built. The Flames have two amazing forward prospects here.
