Two NHL legends get their star on the walk of fame.

For many fans of the sport of hockey, their faces may be even more recognizable than that of most National Hockey League players, and it's no surprised that earlier this week all their hard work was honored.

According to a report from the Canadian Press, both Don Cherry and Ron MacLean received a star on Canada's walk of fame, one that they will share together.

From Peter Coffin of the Canadian Press:

Veteran hockey broadcasters Don Cherry and Ron MacLean were honoured Monday with a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame.

Speaking at a ceremony in downtown Toronto, Walk of Fame CEO Melanie Hurley said the pair have made incredible contributions to Canadian culture.

The best moment probably came from Cherry, who in classic Cherry fashion touted his own horn by pointing out how, much to his approval, his name appeared above MacLean's on the star.
