This just in, the New Jersey Devils have placed goaltender Louis Domingue on waivers. Additionally, the Ottawa Senators have placed defenseman Cody Goloubef on waivers, as well.

Check it out:

In the case of Domingue, he could be a cheap, even free, pick up for a team looking to solidify its backup goaltending position down the stretch. Could the Carolina Hurricanes use Domingue? How about the Colorado Avalanche? Philipp Grubauer just went down with an injury. Or how about the Vegas Golden Knights? Don’t be surprised if and when Domingue gets scooped up.

The 27 year old Quebec native has a dismal 3.79 goals against average and .882 save percentage in 16 games with the dreadful Devils this season.

Whatever the case, it certainly seems like Domingue is on his way out of New Jersey. Not only has the team placed him on waivers, but they've also held him out of the lineup for tonight's game against the San Jose Sharks and have called up Cory Schneider from the AHL.
