Two NHL teams may be targeting the same man as their next head coach.

Let me preface this report by saying that if the rumors of Darryl Sutter potentially leaving the Los Angeles Kings are accurate, this situation may change drastically for at least one, and maybe even both of these teams.

According to two reports from Minnesota Wild insider Mike Russo of the Star Tribune, both the Calgary Flames and the anaheim Ducks have both contacted the Wild organization in order to obtain permission to speak with recently fired head coach Mike Yeo.

Yeo is currently coaching Team Canada, a team managed by Flames general manager Brad Treliving, so Russo assumes that conversation may have already taken place. Yeo is likely one of the stronger candidates for both jobs, however as mentioned above the situation with Darryl Sutter could throw everything in to chaos.
