Two NHL teams rumored to be playing at outside of North America next season.

There have been a lot of rumors regarding the National Hockey League's potential expansion into other countries and now we may have an idea of which two teams will lead the charge.

Ottawa Senators insider Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun is reporting that there have been preliminary talks between the Senators and the Colorado Avalanche regarding the possibility of Colorado being a potential oversea's opponent for them.

According to Garrioch the talks are still currently in their preliminary stages, but if these discussions are even taking place it's a sign that the NHL does indeed have a plan for games outside North America in place. 

It will be interesting to see how Ottawa and Colorado were elected for this event.
