U.S. military member surprises his young daughter during tonight's preseason games.

This is just a purely feel good moment and it was all made possible thanks to the Washington Capitals organization. 

On Wednesday night the Capitals were hosting the New Jersey Devils in preseason action, and while they didn't manage to secure the victory, every fan in the building likely left there feeling pretty good about being a Capitals fan. 

That's because the Capitals helped a member of the United States military surprise his daughter by returning home early, something the little girl clearly had not expected as she was already in tears before she ever realized her daddy was home. 

While it was heart-wrenching to see her so clearly upset by the absence of her father, at least there is some comfort in knowing the pair has been reunited.
