Uncertain future for a blossoming prospect!

Joel Eriksson Ek played his ninth game saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers and it might be his last for the season. " I don't know if he's going to play [tonight]. It's his 10th game, we haven't made our mind yet" told Coach Bruche Boudreau, per Minneapolis StarTribune.

Eriksson Ek has 2 goals and 3 assists in 9 games so far this season and while the young man has been playing well so far, he averaged only 10 minutes of icetime per game. 

Scatching him for tonight's game might give the time Minnesota needs to evaluate what they'll do with the swedish prospect. They would have the opportunity to send him down in the AHL with Iowa or for his old team back in Sweden.
