UPDATE: Expected Defensive Pairings
NHL.com

The Chicago Blackhawks offensive lineups for tonight have got the fans talking about how Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews will be skating side by side versus the New Jersey Devils.

After all the news about the offensive lines it leaves us asking about the defensive lines and what the Blackhawks options are for tonight.

No official lines were announced during yesterday or today's practice. This is bizarre considering the defensive lines play the critical role in shutting down the PK an area which the Blackahawks have been lacking in since the start of the season.

Last Monday versus the Calgary Flames we had Duncan Keith and Brian Campbell as the first paring with Niklas Hjalmarsson and Brent Seabrook on the second. Gustav Forsling and Michal Rozsival paired up as the third unit for the night.

Perhaps coach will keep the defensive groupings similar going into this game, maybe giving Michal Kempny a shot on the third line replacing Forsling for the night.

Whatever the case may be cheer on the Chicago Blackhawks tonight as they face the New Jersey Devils at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
