Update: Full details on trade that sends Marc Methot from Vegas to Dallas!

It was one of the hottest rumors during the expansion draft. and it has come to pass. We now have the full details on the trade that will send former Ottawa Senators defenseman Marc Methot to the Dallas Stars. 

According to a report from Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman, the Dallas Stars have acquired Methot from the Las Vegas Golden Knights, who acquired him from the Ottawa Senators in the expansion draft. 

While initially the details of the deal were not known, Friedman is now reporting that the Stars have given up a second round draft pick in 2020, as well as goaltender Dylan Ferguson. 

Ferguson was just drafted by the Stars in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and is an 18-year-old goaltending prospect coming off a strong season with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League.
