UPDATE: Injured Player Details

Gustav Forsling of the Chicago Blackhawks sustained an upper body injury last night while taking on the Calgary Flames at the United Center.

The rookie defenseman was unable to make it back to the ice for the third period and his upper body injury is undisclosed at the moment.

We seem to have found the possible cause of the injury on Forsling as he takes a hard hit on the boards during the second period.

Coach Q has stated that Forsling is currently "day to day" but no official announcement has been made about his health status.

From the footage we have available it seems like he could have injured his left arm as it might have gotten stuck while falling down.
