Ryan Hartman of the Chicago Blackhawks suffered a lower body injury during last Friday's match-up against the Nashville Predators.
Blackhawks fans and organization feared the worst when he left the ice and did not return for Saturday's game either.
The injury is not as serious as originally thought and Joel Quenneville said that Hartman is "day to day" for the time being.
The Blackhawks have not considered calling anyone up for the moment, so that is a good sign.
Hartman had a great start this season, he scored a goal during the first game and assisted Marcus Kruger for a goal versus Nashville on Friday.
