Update: Latest developments in MONSTER Eichel deal

With news breaking last night that the Buffalo Sabres and forward Jack Eichel are progressing toward an eight year contract extension, Sabres and Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula took time to address the rumors during a Bills news conference.

"I can tell you this; we want Jack and Jack wants to be in Buffalo," Pegula said about the contract rumors. For what it’s worth, Eichel’s agent Peter Fish has not denied the rumors as well, saying “we are talking and I would say that we will be continuing to talk."
