The Tampa Bay Lightning had a real ugly incident on it's hands after one of their players, J.T. Brown, attacked a fan, knocking the phone out of the fans hands and destroying it in the process.

Thankfully for them the fan was very understanding and has only asked for the phone to be replaced, and on Thursday commenting for the first time since the incident Brown admitted that the Lightning is working towards a solution.

"Just a heat-of-the-moment situation," Brown told the Tampa Bay Times on Wednesday. "We've reached out to the guy, and we're working on getting him a new phone as well. That's all there really is to say."

Brown wasn't very apologetic, something that may not play well with the National Hockey League who is now investigating the incident, and it seems like he believes merely buying the fan a new phone will make everything go away.

"At the end of the day, we made it right," said Brown, who was scratched against the Flyers after the Lightning said he was day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
