Update on injured Habs star Jonathan Drouin.

The Montreal Canadiens surprised quite a few people when they announced that star forward Jonathan Drouin had been injured following their morning skate, however there is now some good news. 

According to a report from TSN insider Pierre LeBrun, Canadiens head coach Claude Julien has informed him that Drouin suffered some kind of "muscular" injury, although still no specifics in that regard. 

Additionally Julien informed LeBrun that the injury was not serious, and stated that while Drouin will not be playing tonight, it really is merely a day-to-day situation for the young forward.

Habs fans who were concerned that this could be a more serious matter should breath easy unless any further updates come out to contradict the statements made by the head coach.
