The Winnipeg Jets have an update on Ondrej Pavelec.
Jets' head coach Paul Maurice told Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun that the goaltender will be sidelined "about a week" with a lower-body injury.
Pavelec sustained the injury during Tuesday's matchup against the Minnesota Wild, and Connor Hellebuyck came in for relief midway through the second period.
Pavelec has appeared in eight games since being recalled on Jan. 17. The veteran netminder has posted a 4-4-0 record in that time, with an .888 save percentage and 3.55 goals-against average.
