While National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr managed to find himself a roster spot in Calgary this season, another future Hall-of-Famer has yet to find his spot, and by the sounds of things he may not either.
While many have been hoping to see another NHL season out of veteran forward Jarome Iginla, he has yet to find himself a team to play for and the latest on that front is not good news.
David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period is now reporting he has been told there is nothing new regarding Iginla's NHL future, and making matters worse is it doesn't sound like Iginla will sign with just any team. According to Pagnotta Iginla is waiting for the right opportunity to present itself, which could mean some kind of assurances on playing time, or a potential final chance at a Stanley Cup.
Hopefully this isn't the end of what has been a terrific career thus far for Iginla.
