Update on McQuaid status after throat slashed open.

Adam McQuaid is one badass dude, we know that. The 6'4, 212lbs Boston D-man is like a modern day viking, minus the horned helmet.

Anyhow, as you know he had his throat slashed open by David Backes' skate last Saturday and many were anxious to know how he would recover from that.

In McQuaid's case, everything went much better with only a superficial cut to the throat.

According to the official Bruins account, McQuaid skated this morning and is expected to play tonight.

I mean, it took him only 48 hours to get over the mental and physical fallout of the cut. Amazing.
