Update on Paul Postma status, it's not good.

Paul Postma has been out with an undisclosed lower body injury since March 16^th.  Head coach, Paul Maurice has now confirmed that surgery will be required.

“Paul is going to have surgery on hernias on both sides”

 The recovery time for a surgery of this magnitude is “somewhere between four, six and eight weeks depending on how he heals” Maurice continued.  The coach also stated that Postma played as long as he could with the pain, but got to the point that he couldn’t play anymore. So why wasn’t surgery performed sooner?  

“Some of these you operate on, some you don’t.  We gave it about a week to kind of calm down” said Maurice 

In 65 games, the big defenseman had 14 points this season.
