Jacques Demers is back at home after having a scare last night.

The former Montreal Canadiens' coach and Canadian Senator returned to his home after going ton the hospital on Saturday. His office confirmed that the 72-year-old was at home Sunday, and did not provide details as to why he spent the night.

The 72-year old suffered a stroke in April, but attended the Canadiens' home opener Tuesday night. He handed a torch to captain Max Pacioretty to end the opening night ceremonies.

Demers won the Stanley Cup with the Canadiens in 1993 and also coached the Quebec Nordiques, Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning over a 14 year career.

Glad to see he is back on the mend.
