Shayne Gostisbehere is having a rough go lately, and this isn't going to change tonight.

According to Philadelphia Flyers' beat reporter Dave Isaac, the Flyers' star defenseman will be a healthy scratch for Monday's game against the St. Louis Blues. This is the third straight contest that Gostisbehere will be watching from the box and the fifth time he will serve as a healthy scratch this season.

The second-year D-man is mired in a sophomore slump and is in the midst of a 27-game goalless drought.

The Calder trophy runner-up from last season has only managed four goals and 17 assists, after being one of the most productive players for the team in the 2015-16 season.

His scratches have been a talking point for both the media and Flyers' fans throughout the season. As per Isaac, sitting 'Ghost' down is becoming a contention point among the Flyers' players as well.

Hopefully Gostisbehere will get his opportunity to turn this around.
