Vancouver Canucks goaltender goes the extra mile for his son's birthday

Dad of the year trophy goes to Vancouver Canucks goaltender Anders Nilsson who dressed up in Spiderman and climbed over the roof of his house to surprise his son for his 2nd birthday.

Nilsson, a 6-foot-5, 229 pounds netminder, signed a two-year $5 million contract with the Canucks earlier this offseason.

Last year, with the Buffalo Sabres, he had a career best in save percentage and GAA.

We now know what kind of special training he was doing to get in such a shape.
