Vegas fans taunt Evander Kane with hilarious chant!

Earlier this month, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported that the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas filed a lawsuit in Clark County District Court alleging San Jose Sharks’ Evander Kane failed to pay back $500,000 in gambling markers the casino extended to him in April.

According to the court documents, Kane took out eight credits of varying amounts between $20,000 and $100,000 on or about April 15. That date would have fallen between games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup playoff series between the Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights last spring.

And so when the Sharks visited the Golden Knights on Thursday night, it was clear that the fanbase would mock Kane for his actions in their city. Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports was one of many to post on Twitter last night that fans in the T-Mobile Arena chanted “Pay your markers!” every time Kane stepped on the ice.

You have to salute the Golden Knights’ fans for their creativity and attention to current events.
