The Vegas Golden Knights have assigned goaltender Maxime Lagace to the Chicago Wolves (AHL), as reported on Twitter by hockey insider Chris Johnston on Sunday.

Marc-Andre Fleury was activated from the injured reserve earlier today, after he missed the last 25 games with a concussion.

Lagace, 24, was signed as a free agent by the Golden Knights last summer. He was thrown into action after Fleury, Oscar Dansk and Malcom Subban were all injured, and he did a good job, giving the fact that he had no NHL experience before this year.

He registered a record of 6-6-1, with a 3.79 goals-against average and a .872 save percentage.

The Golden Knights will be playing their next game on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
