Vegas Golden Knights take a shot at a rival NHL team!

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have yet to hit the ice and play a single hockey game, but their social media game is already as sharp as hockey skate.

The Golden Knights have been garnering attention for their franchise with great content on social media, and on Friday that crossed into the territory of having a little fun at the expense of a rival team. 

The San Jose Sharks tried to one-up the Golden Knights by stating that they were "already up" on the Golden Knights, pointing to the fact that a heat wave in the bay area has driven the temperature even higher than those in the desert, however the Golden Knights had an even better response for the Sharks.

"Because everybody knows how good the San Jose Sharks are at holding leads," said the Golden Knights on social media.

This might as well have been a knock out blow for the Golden Knights, and one that saw them receive a great deal of love from their fan base.
