The Florida Panthers have released forward Troy Brouwer from his professional tryout on Wednesday.

Fans were happy to see the Panthers invited him back this preseason, after the 34-year-old spent the 2018-19 campaign with Florida, registering 12 goals and nine assists in 75 games.

It is however the end of the road today…

Brouwer is a 13-year NHL veteran and has 181 goals and 181 assists in a total 838 career games.

He was selected in the seventh round by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2004. Brouwer has spent time with the Hawks, Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames and Panthers during his career.

It could be the end of it now…
