Veteran cut from professional tryout

The Boston Bruins have decided to part ways with Peter Mueller.

The 28-year old was offered a PTO, which represented his third opportunity to play in the NHL after a three-year stint in Europe. He featured for Kloten HC between 2013-2015 and the Malmo Redhawks last season. He posted 13 goals and 25 points in 43 games for the latter.

He last appeared in the NHL with the Florida Panthers in 2012-2013, where he had 17 points and a -11 rating through 43 games.
