One of the National Hockey League's most recognizable enforcers will be sticking around for at least two more seasons.

An official report from the St. Louis Blues team website has announced that Robert Bortuzzo and the Blues have come to terms on a two-year contract extension.

The official announcement:

ST. LOUIS - Defenseman Robert Bortuzzo has agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with the Blues.

Bortuzzo's current contract was set to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season. The extension will now keep Bortuzzo in St. Louis through the 2018-19 season.

Bortuzzo has played in 64 career games with the Blues, registering four goals, three assists and a plus-5 rating.

Botuzzo has made a name for himself with his physical defensive play, and while his NHL career began with the Penguins, he seems to have found a fit for himself in St. Louis.
