The Los Angeles Kings have announced they have placed Christian Ehrhoff on waivers Wednesday, Ehrhoff had 11 points in 40 games with the Kings and was a -10 over that stretch.
Ehrhoff signed a one year deal with the Kings this season, and has a very team friendly deal with a cap hit of only $1.5 million and will likely be a very valuable asset to many playoff contenders. We can think of a number of teams likely to claim Ehrhoff, even if he were to fall further down the waiver wire, teams like the Detroit Red Wings could consider claiming him.
