In case you missed the news yesterday, veteran NHL forward Drew Stafford has signed a professional tryout (PTO) contract with the Minnesota Wild.
Check it out:
The 33 year old has played the past two seasons with the New Jersey Devils, putting up five goals and 13 points in 57 games in 2018-19.
He has 196 goals and 428 points in 841 career NHL games split between the Devils, Boston Bruins, Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres. The Milwaukee, WI native was originally drafted by the Sabres in the 1st round (13th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
