Veteran forward Riley Sheahan signs a 1 year deal

Veteran NHL forward Riley Sheahan has signed a one year contract with the Buffalo Sabres.

The 30 year old Sheahan is actually returning to the Sabres, for whom he played 53 with in the 2020-21 season. Last season he played 69 games for the Seattle Kraken, putting up four goals and 17 points. While most fans may remember Sheahan from his time with the Detroit Red Wings, he has actually bounced around the league the past few seasons. Since 2018 he has seen time with the Sabres, Kraken, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers and Pittsburgh Penguins.
